I found some great pictures of Idaho Falls on the USGS' website. They didn't know when the pictures were taken, but based on the content it's been a while. I'm sure an avid historian could probably place the photos based on the content but I am not such a person. I can still appreciate them.
So without further ado, here are the pictures. I believe them to be in the public domain. They are about 2.5MB each.

My mom always told me about that old bridge, said there was also another really rickety footbridge around there when she was a kid. Kinda cool to see how it used to be before the dam.

Being an avid historian I would estimate that those pictures were taken sometime near the beginning of the 20th century. I think that the clothes that you see on the people in some of the pictures are similar to what one would have worn around 1910 or so, but I couldn't really give a more exact estimate than that without more detail to analyze.
Taylor's Crossing bridge

The bridge in the stereo photograph is named Taylor's Crossing. There's a plaque downtown that gives some info about it. I'll have to look. Wikipedia reports that it was built in 1865. They have a picture dated 1870 which shows the bridge in somewhat better repair and without power lines. There was a train bridge built in 1879 near the same site, which you can see in the last picture (it has two spans). That last picture doesn't have Taylor's Crossing, so the original bridge must have been removed by then.
The other point of detail would be the city. A number of the buildings are identifiable by markings. If we knew when they were built and when other prominent buildings were subsequently built, we could narrow it down. That's probably out of my league though.
