At work I've been pushing my boss to use Asterisk for our phone system. It's a voice over IP (VoIP) based PBX for Linux and boy is it awesome. Over the last few weeks he's started to succumb to my threats and I've got a basic system up and running. Tonight I set up a peering arrangement with a friend of mine.

I have backported rrdtool version 1.0.48-2 from unstable to replace version 1.0.35 in woody. The files are linked at the bottom of the page. To install the TCL versions you'll need the backported tcl libraries from backports.org.

I saw that NVIDIA released new Linux drivers so I decided to install them. Worked great with just one catch. OpenGL stopped working. :( Never fear! I got it working again.

I finally got DSL at home last week. It's great. I've got a wonderful ISP (not MSN!) so things are working out well. It was a little tough to configure since we had to do wireless between the modem and the computer, but that's another article. :)

Today I'm here to rant about the Actiontec router they sent me. It's got 802.11g wireless which is cool, and it's an embedded Linux device which definitely gets them some cool points. They even have the code available from their website like their supposed to. Cool beans. But it's not without issues.
